Music in the Park & Annual Awards Presentation

We changed things up a bit this year by adding the Annual Awards and Fireworks Fundraising to our Music in the Park event. It was a success all the way around. Performances by Tim Veazey and a band made up of eclectic locals: Liz, Allana, Carl, Dillon, Elise, Ira, Joe Jerry & Jack. We presented awards to our local hero “Of The Year” individuals & businesses:

Non-Profit of the Year – Hotchkiss Lion’s Club

Business of the Year – The Hitching Post

Volunteer of the Year – Nathan Sponseller

Teacher of the Year – Jennifer Chavez, Montessori School in Crawford

Firefight Awards – Mike Tiedeman (2020) and Brady Todd (2021)

Business After Hours

The first “Business After Hours” was held in October and there will be more to come. We, as a Chamber, are dedicated to finding ways to help your business to thrive. Our purpose for these meeting is to learn what is needed from our members and to provide networking opportunities for businesses to share successful strategies.

Crawford Beautification Project

With a generous contribution from Vegetation Management West, the Chamber provided a 30 yard dumpster in the Town Hall parking lot for our Town Clean Up Project. Judging by the fact that it was filled and emptied three times this was definitely a success which we hope to continue.

Our Annual Crawford Town Hall Christmas Lighting Ceremony was beautiful as ever!
